I’m From by Dre
I’m from basketball courts with heated people
I’m from people fighting for no reason.
I’m from people smoking cause they think it’s cool.
I’m from people stealing things, then flexing them.
I’m from people lying about their age to get something.
i’m from people trying to get you to the corner store to take you
I’m from a place where if you open up the door, all you hear is gunshots.
I’m from the kids who act tough because they’re in it.
I’m from the dogs, not on the leash.
I’m from running with our die without.
I’m from basketball players trying to make it out
I’m from going to the park with friends and family so you can learn something new.
I’m from friends and family are going to Illinois for other family members,
and I’m running around the park and school.
Doing challenges at the church for prizes and to get bragging rights for a week
I’m from Jump roping challenges with people I know, for money
And naming squirrels and dogs because they don’t have a owner
